Santa Fe Ruana Take 2



Here is a picture of the Santa Fe Ruana. As you can see I have finished the two side panels and am working on the back mitered square. This picture gives the best idea of the colors. I like the Manos yarn with its thick and thin texture. I am hoping it softens some when blocked. Right now I think it might be a little itchy next to the skin.

I love it so far -- the mitered panel is going to give it a nice "finished" look.

Something I noticed about wool is that the colder it is outside, the less it itches against my skin. I've always been sensitive to wool's itch factor, but when it's really cold outside, it doesn't bother me (it does the job in keeping me warm).
