I was surprised by this, although I shouldn't be. I was born and lived in the Philadelphia area until I was 7. However, I have lived in the south for over 45 years. I thought my yankee accent had been softened. I guess not.

This is so funny, it reminded me of the lady I met at the genealogy library who nailed my accent within just a few minutes of conversation....of course I lived in south PA longer than you did. Love, Jan
The quiz says I have a Midland accent, which basically means I have no accent at all. Kinda funny, but hey I'd be great for tv or radio it says!
Quiz said I had a Northeast accent New York or Conn, I did not expect that. Jan
How strange.
