A Little Knitting

There hasn't been a lot of knitting going on here lately, but a little bit has gotten finished. This is a baby soaker that I finished last month. At the rate I am going, the baby it is intended for will be too big for it, and the weather will be too hot. Oh well, it looks pretty. The other finished project was this pair of PURPLE socks that I make for me. They are made from Trekking XXL sock yarn on size 1 (2.5mm) needles.
I did try some new dpns for these socks. I bought some Knit Picks Harmony laminated birch needles back in February. I really like them a lot. The needles have really good points, and they are very smooth without being slippery.

What yarn did you use for the soaker? It is pretty! And I love your socks too! I really need to find a set of needles to replace the ones that I lost with my last Trekking sock on it; I miss that set of needles and I miss Trekking yarn!

The soaker is made from one of the Cascade 220 yarns. It is not quite that light. The flash washed it out some, but it is a pretty yarn.

You really should try the Knit Picks Harmony needles. I really like them a lot.
