OK, here are some photos of the kitchen, or at least the cabinets in the kitchen. The cabinets will be painted white when all is finished. Not all the doors have been put on yet, but you can still get an idea of how things will look. This first photo was taken from the breakfast area.
This next photo is still from the breakfast area, but farther to the left showing the half wall that divides the kitchen from the living room.

There's not too much noticeable work going on right now. The guys who will be painting have been caulking all the cracks and crevasses. The cabinet guys still need to come back and finish up, too.

Have you decided yet what color you're going with on the walls?
Yes, the walls are going to be a neutral beige/tan color except for the dining room. The dining room is going to be RED.
Now that is a real island, did they get it right this time? Jan
Yes, the island is good. It's 4 feet wide by 6 feet long. It's going to be fun to work on.
It's really taking shape! The kitchen looks like it's going to be a really nice place to be!
